The subject this series approaches , the creation of the urban and industrial profile surrounding us, the scenery we inhabit, pretends to be in first place a modest homage to the main protagonists in this task, architects and workers.

Leaving aside the admiration this activity inspires to the author, what this series explores is the invisible paths which relate constructors work with universality, condition alife in all creative work, linking in this way all human activity.

I belive that gravity defying structures, the conquest of hight, work as a strong metaphore representing the historic human struggle seeking power and knowledge, quest, where reason and adventure march together.

If the argument of the series shows fantastic or imposible constructions, the theme instead, I hope, approaches us to the sense of epic which inspires even the most irrelevant human work, piece and part of a major building in which directors, projectors, workers and technicians are embellished by this daring ride of calculation, art and tenacity which govern their daily work.

The author dedicates these works to the memory of the master Ferdinand Leger.

The Leisure: Summer in Montevideo or January at home.

In the argument of this series, the superfluous cultural frustration consequence of remaining in the empty city during summer holidays, creates the conditions for a new experience, undoubtely of greater depth and signifficancy.
Our character, left behind in the silent city, is trapped in an uncomfortable spot where the only option to face the severity of heat and loneliness is dreaming about the sea and beaches in the rooftop.
If this is the argument, the subject relates us with the necessary amount of stoicism required to find peace and harmony in such an adverse scenario.
To rejoice with delight, enthusiasm and pleasure in the face of the long and torrid summer midday, as time slows down, in the expectancy of the refreshing hours of evening and night, which are still unable to cool down walls and floor.
Finally leisure days at home, which maybe inclose the opportunity to discover pleasure there where it's not visible. CARPE DIEM.
